This policy explains what personal data OmniSound Hub AI KROSS ("OmniSound", "we") processes when you visit omnisoundai.com, buy a licence or use the OmniSound apps for LG TV, Windows and Android.

1. Who is responsible

2. What we process, why, and on what legal basis

2.1 Purchases (omnisoundai.com, Shopify)

When you buy a licence we receive your name, email address, billing address, order details and the licence key created for the order. Payment is processed by Shopify and its payment providers; we never see your full card details. Legal basis: performance of the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and legal obligations such as invoicing and tax records (Art. 6(1)(c)).

2.2 Licence and trial

To give every device a 7-day trial and to check a licence, each app sends to our licence server: the type of device (TV, PC or Android), a one-way hash of the device's identifier (the identifier itself never leaves the device), a short device code shown on screen, the device model, the app version and the app language. If you activate a licence, the device is linked to that licence. Our server answers with a signed status that the app keeps so it also works offline. Legal basis: performance of the contract and our legitimate interest in preventing licence misuse (Art. 6(1)(f)).

2.3 Website

The online store uses the cookies and analytics provided by Shopify, according to the choices you make in the cookie banner. See Shopify's privacy policy at shopify.com/legal/privacy.

2.4 Support

If you write to us, we use your email and message to answer you. Legal basis: legitimate interest / contract.

3. What stays on your devices

  • Your music, library, playlists, favourites and listening history are stored only on your own devices (and on your NAS or computer). We do not upload them.
  • Your AI keys and passwords (for example a Gemini, Groq, OpenRouter, Claude or ChatGPT key, a YouTube key, or the login of your NAS or music server) are stored only on the device where you type them. They are never sent to us.

4. Services the apps contact directly

Some features work by asking third-party services directly from your device. Only the data needed for the feature is sent:

  • The AI provider you choose (Google Gemini, Groq, OpenRouter, Anthropic Claude or OpenAI ChatGPT), with your own key: your request, and song or artist names / lyric lines when you ask for playlists, translations or facts. Their own privacy policies apply.
  • Lyrics: the LRCLIB open database (artist, title, album, duration).
  • Covers and artist information: Apple iTunes Search, Wikipedia / Wikidata / Wikimedia Commons (artist and song names).
  • Internet radio and podcasts: the Radio Browser directory, the Apple podcast directory, and the stations' and podcasts' own servers.
  • Music videos: the YouTube Data API with your own key, and our small player page (hosted on Cloudflare) that shows the muted video.
  • Weather and location by IP on the TV's ambient screen, when you turn it on.

5. Processors and transfers

We use Shopify (store and payments), Supabase (licence database, hosted in the European Union - Ireland) and Cloudflare (website hosting and delivery). Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area; they do so under the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.

6. How long we keep data

Order and invoice data: as long as tax and commercial law requires (in Spain generally up to 6 years). Licence and device data: while the licence is active and up to 2 years after the device was last seen, then deleted. Support messages: up to 2 years.

7. Your rights

You can ask for access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest, by writing to support@omnisoundai.com. You can also complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, www.aepd.es).

8. Children

OmniSound is not directed at children under 14. We do not knowingly collect their data.

9. Changes

We may update this policy; the date at the top shows the latest version.
