Synced lyrics for your own music library on an LG TV

A father laughing with his children

Streaming services show lyrics that light up in time with the song. Play your own FLACs from a NAS on the TV, though, and you usually get a cover at best. OmniSound Hub AI KROSS brings synced lyrics to your own music on LG webOS TVs.

Where the lyrics come from

  • Your files first: lyrics embedded in the tags or a .lrc file next to the song.
  • An open lyrics database for songs that have none, checked against the song's length so a live or extended version doesn't get the wrong timing.
  • Automatic timing: when only plain lyrics exist, the PC hub listens to the song with speech recognition and places every line - so even rare albums get karaoke-style lyrics.

In your language, line by line

Next to the original, the AI shows a translation line by line, in your language - 25 languages are supported. Seven lyric styles go from a calm single line to full karaoke word by word, and the TV remote changes the style with one click.

How to set it up

  1. Install OmniSound on the LG TV (webOS 4 or newer) and add your music source: a NAS, a PC folder or a music server.
  2. Play a song and press the microphone icon - lyrics appear in time.
  3. Turn on the translation and choose a style in Settings → Lyrics.

Try it: OmniSound Hub AI KROSS is free for 7 days on every device - Windows PC, Android and LG TV. See plans · See the app
